This past weekend marked the start of our backyard makeover. Mike rented a bobcat and had some family and youth come over to help us dig out a massive hill in the back. It was a ton of work for them but they got a lot accomplished. We plan on putting grass back there with some sort of play structure for the girls. They love to play outside and it would be nice to be able to do that without having to accompany them to the park everytime. I can't wait to shove them out there and get some things done. They'll have fun and I can clean without them at my heels the whole time.
I think Mike had more fun than he'll admit driving that bobcat. And for that matter, I think my dad did too. It did look like a lot off fun. I didn't try to drive it. It vibrated a ton and I wasn't sure the baby would appreciate it.

No problem, I did great sitting on your couch and laying on the floor with the girls. Hard work, it was! :) And you're right, dad really enjoyed the bobcat.
Where is the before picture just so that everyone knows exactly how much dirt was actually removed?
