Lesson On Vanity

Emily was getting dressed in her room Saturday and I was in their room getting something. I overheard her say..."I deserve to wear a crown." So I asked her, "why do you deserve to wear a crown?" Her response was..."because of the kind of person I am"

Duh, what was I thinking? After holding in laughter, I gave her a lesson on vanity!

One thing for sure, Emily has NEVER really had a problem in the self-esteem department! She's crushed when one of her friends doesn't talk to her or play with her, but I honestly don't think she's ever related it to herself, which is nice. I sure love that little girl! (Along with a couple others, and a little boy, of course. Always thinking of being fair, you know.)

You just tell Em that Aunt Tricia thinks she deserves to wear a crown too! That is hilarious!
