Emily: mommy can you sing at church where Daddy sings? (up front leading).
Me: No, mommy doesn't sing well enough for that.
Emily: You can sing loudly if you try.
Me: I can sing loud but not good.
Emily: Oh, and then people will laugh and point at you and that won't be good?
Me: Right.
Emily: I would like to sing up there. Daddy told me I could sing up there with him and I went up there but then Joel told me no and to go sit down. That wasn't very nice. He was rude.
Gees Joel, can't you let the girl sing! She just wants to sing!

Way to crush the girls spirit Joel. What happens if she wants to get baptized one day, are you going to deny her because she might get the water dirty? I think some soul searching might be in order.
P.S. Jamie, I am not saying Emily is dirty I am saying some people like to put bushels over others candles.
P.S.S. For those who take things to seriously this all sarcasm, hyperbole and jest.

Okay, I may be a biased grandma here, but I personally think that Emily would be a wonderful addition to the worship team on Sunday morning. She loves God, she loves to sing...heck, she'd even dance!
Remember, Joel, Jesus said to let the little children come. Ahem....d'ya wanna rethink that?
Yeah, Joel, she has plenty to say, why not put it into music form, the congregation could really get an education! What are you waitin' for??
haha, actually Emily and I made a deal yesterday that she will let Jamie sing a special song on Christmas day at Bridge. So for anyone who wants to show up to Bridge on Christmas morning, Jamie will be there singing.
