Rylee turns 6 months on Friday. As usual, it's so hard to believe. Its gone by so fast. She is such a sweet baby. She is a big mommies girl, (which I can't say I hate!). She does the sweetest thing when someone hands her back to me after holding her. She grabs a fistful of hair from each side of my head and brings her head to my forehead. Kind of an "I love you" hug. It's so sweet. I love them at this age. Mike says to enjoy my time because in another 6 months or so he starts the take over.
Rylee didn't have a great day today. She had her 6 month check up and had her scheduled 3 shots plus a flu shot to boot. So a total of four torturous shots. She didn't care for those! She also got weighed, (I always love this part, it's fun to see). She didn't tip the scales this time. She weighted 12 lbs. 8oz and was 26 inches long. She's gained a whole 8 ounces in two months and 3/4 of an inch. A little birdy told her mommy wanted her to stay little forever! It was funny because the doctor always charts her growth and she's always had a slight downward curve on her weight but today she didn't even make the curve, she fell off. But her doctor didn't seem concerned. She just has to come back in 3 months instead of the six month break she was supposed to get.
Overall, she's a happy healthy almost six month old!

It is so much fun to watch them grow and change. I was just saying the other day how side by side Jack & Ry Ry don't seem that different in size but from across the room they look small and big but not to the point one would have thought Ry Ry didn't gain hardly anything. Lucky you, getting you your wish of staying small forever at least longer than Jack. Hee Hee. Happy 6 Months Ry Ry.

On another note: is that a bathtub sitter that she is in? NOT in the bathtub! LOL It doesn't matter just thought it was funny!! Whatever works right!!
