And the Risk Champion is.....

At Last we got to play Risk at the house. Jed and Joel came over for the challenge. The ladies watched the husbands suffer.

It was a great victory and I have to provide many thanks to Joel for letting me have your cards!

Can't wait to stick it to you again :) Now if we can only get the ladies to learn how to play this game. Sure beats the board game that forces us to get our feelings out.

I am up for the rematch. I have been training hard. I can barely move my left arm from all the dice I have been rolling the last two days.

Games about your feelings? What planet are you on? And no, the ladies had better things to do than watch the slow moving risk game!

I am in complete agreement, there is much more interesting to do than watch or listen to the disturbingly slow game of risk.

My reply has been censored by my wife. Suffice it to say that playing a game with a female who does not want to play is a huge mistake. Joel you gave way to many -oops also censored.

Oh, PLEASE tell me that Dad didn't pass this defective gene onto you.... I am SO sorry Jamie!

Hey, I wanna play! It's not a family game if it doesn't cause one fight.

We have to get some brackets started. I am thinking a double elimination tournament. Leslie says that she will even join in, if it will get the other wives to play as well. That way we could get a couple 1 seed vs. 16 seed games going. We need to make this happen.

Sorry Leslie, count me out. I'll go shopping during the tournament. Mike, I'll support you from afar!

Joel, You might want to make me "Seed #1" for this tournament. Does this make you a #16 seed since you lost?

Jamie, count me shopping with you! I got home and read this blog about how I "volunteered" to play---only one thing to say about it---NO WAY!

Joel and Leslie said...

That is just peer pressure speaking. She was begging me to let her play in the tournament. She even promised to learn her geography.

Something tells me that Leslie would was spoken for. At this rate it might have to be a shopping TRIP! I'm voting Medford!

Joel and Leslie said...

If leslie can tell you where Medford is, I will let her out of the tournament!

Disdain, shame and unworthiness are the only things I can say about my pitiful performance in the Risk game. I barely outlasted the future 16th seed. A rematch is definetely in order, but Gentlemen certain events are not meant for coed participation (particularly with you two guys- one of you wishes to "stick it" to the other participants while the other is so "up" just thinking about a rematch that he can "barely move" his left arm after two days of anticipation - come to think of it under these circumstances I am not sure I want to be involved in a rematch). Anyway if you guys can cool your ardor another Risk match should be planned.

That's what she said.

Eh? I thought she said she wanted to go shopping.
